MBN USA nation's leading supplier diversity print, digital news source

Don McKneely, founder and chairman of Minority Business News USA (MBN USA), recently earned the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council’s (DFW MSDC) 2022 Chairman’s Award. The coveted award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions of their time to advance the Council’s objectives.

The honor was presented to McKneely during DFW MSDC’s recent annual E (Excellence) Awards ceremony by Council Chair Bonnie Clinton, vice president and CPO indirect procurement, Toyota Motor North America Inc.

“I am honored to receive the Chairman’s Award,” McKneely said. “For more than 30 years, my passion has been spreading the gospel about the value of minority business development and recognizing corporate supplier diversity success.”

Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2023, MBN USA is the nation’s oldest and leading supplier diversity print and digital news source. 

The  other 2022 E Awards winners were: 

Supplier of the Year

• ·      Class I (revenues less than $1 million) – Strategar LLC
• ·      Class II (revenues between $1 million and $10 million) – Bracane Co. Inc.
• ·      Class III (revenues between $10 million and $50 million) – Mohr Partners Inc.
• ·      Class IV (revenues greater than $50 million) – VDart Group 

Buying Entity of the Year: AT&T Inc.

Public Agency of the Year: City of Fort Worth

Executive Champion of the Year: Ken Lear, AT&T

Supply Chain Professional of the Year: Gianmarco Russo, Oncor Electric Delivery Co. LLC

Supplier Diversity Professional of the Year: Paul Harris, Raytheon 

Advocate of the Year: Noa Dowl, JBJ Management

DFW MSDC 2022 Servant Leader Award: Rob Matwick, Texas Rangers
